Business Development Representative - GT Software

GT Software is seeking a proven Business Development Representative to nurture and facilitate pipeline development and lead qualification within targeted accounts to sustain continuous sales growth. This individual will provide inbound and outbound sales and marketing support for a team of Regional Sales Executives and will report directly to the VP, Marketing with a dotted line to VP, Sales.


  • Ability to understand and educate prospective customers technical offerings and solution sets
  • Prospect into target accounts and qualify inbound leads
  • Work with Marketing and Account Executives to develop and implement account communication plan (“Plays”)
  • Infuse Sales floor with energy and positivity
  • Exceed weekly/monthly goals for meetings, MQL’s, pipeline, and other activities
  • Log all activities and notes in
  • Work the booth at trade shows, events, and conferences
  • Qualify and prioritize all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions
  • Provide superior customer service relationship with prospects
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
  • Develop and manage demand / lead generation campaigns
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and leads


  • Be comfortable making phone calls in an open and positive environment – you are Fearless.
  • Ability to craft highly relevant emails that engage senior executives
  • Account-based marketing / support strategy and execution preferred
  • An infectiously positive attitude and outlook


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 2+ years business experience with a technology company
  • Familiarity with, Marketo, Pardot, or other automation tools
  • Familiarity with prospecting tools
  • Excellent communication skills
