Atlanta - May 15, 2002 - Atlanta based GT Software, Inc., a leading provider of legacy evolution solutions for the z-Series and i-Series markets celebrates its twentieth anniversary in May. The company opened its doors in 1982 in a small office in Marietta with five employees, three of which are employed with GT today. GT's first product, BMS/GT, architected by William Thompson, Chief Operations Officer for GT Software is still purchased by leading Fortune 1000 firms worldwide. Following BMS/GT, GT Software continued to develop and acquire products focusing on legacy renewal solutions to help companies build upon their investments in software, personnel and hardware. These product suites include: ASSIST/TS, WQL/GT, READ/GT, Novation 3270 Extension Suite, Novation Host Web Applications and tcACCESS. Since 1982, GT Software has helped over 4,000 companies throughout the world to build upon their investments.

Joe Ganem, President of GT Software stated, "With GT Software's expertise in medium to large enterprise business solutions, we are uniquely qualified to provide solutions that enable companies to build upon their investments while moving into today's requirements for eBusiness and eCommerce. While the Internet has spawned numerous ventures to move business into the Web, few understand the investments and resources required to operate today's multi-national company. GT Software has been working with enterprise networks for over 20 years. The need to contain costs and enhance life cycles is inherent within a companies need to remain competitive. We do not see these needs as contradictory."

GT Software, now with three locations, Atlanta, Georgia, Alpharetta, Georgia, and London, England is a privately held software company that rose from the vision of Joe Ganem, President and William Thompson, Chief Operating Officer. While working together at a UK based Software Company in the early 80's, the two decided to go into business together for the absolute sake of the business; their priority was to be in absolute control of their own destiny.

Mr. Thompson is impressed with the firm's history and excited about its future, "The last twenty years have been both challenging and rewarding. We're expecting even more great things to come with the recent addition Phil Caltabiano, Vice President of Sales. The combination of his talent and extensive sales background aligned with GT's technology is going to make a significant impact on the industry and our business."
