Use SQL access to unlock mainframe data

Whether your legacy mainframe data is relational or locked away in VSAM, IMS, or another non-relational data source, Ivory Data Access allows you to use standard SQL access to quickly unlock the information stored in all your mainframe data sources.

Using standard SQL commands, Ivory Data Access supports SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE to non-relational as well as relational data sources. The Ivory Data Access SQL engine provides direct SQL access to VSAM files, DB2 tables, IMS or DL/1 databases, Adabas databases, CA Datacom databases, CA IDMS databases, sequential files, 3270 screens, as well as various vendor-specific file systems, from a variety of open system environments or mainframe platforms.

You can also call Ivory Data Access from a CICS, IMS or even a batch program and provide the results of that program execution back to your distributed or web applications.

Ivory Data Access can be used in conjunction with Ivory Service Architect to provide access to your mainframe data through REST and SOAP-based web services.
