Ivory® Data Access supports the SAF interface, providing direct integration into well-known mainframe security systems such as RACF, TOP SECRET and ACF2. The security rules defined in these security systems are automaically applied to Web applications that directly access mainframe data sources for read, write, or update. This integration ensures that PC or Web users will have access only to those host files for which they have the necessary credentials.

Ivory Data Access also provides its own integrated security sub-system, which can be used in place of, or in combination with, the SAF interface. Ivory Data Access can also support any in-house security system in use.
