Process Management

The Ivory^® Data Access server components available for MS Windows, UNIX/Linux and JAVA contain Listener functions. The Listeners can be used for a variety of functions such as: automated synchronization of replicated data, and allowing mainframe applications to directly initiate processes and applications on Windows or UNIX/Linux systems, and pass parameters and data to them. The open-system processes then pass back return codes or messages to the mainframe program. This guarantees two-way communication and secure process management.
