The implementation of MQSeries normally requires a considerable amount of programming and implementation effort. Using Ivory® Data Access as a front end to the MQSeries API shortens and facilitates the development process. Automatic analysis of mainframe data sources (Data Mapping) reduces the coordination effort between the mainframe and client/server programming. SQL support provides transparent access to mainframe data sources without requiring specific mainframe knowledge.
