CA Ideal™ for CA Datacom® is an advanced application development system that addresses program creation and maintenance and is closely integrated with CA Datacom/DB. Ivory Service Architect now provides direct web service enablement for CA Ideal 3270 applications. Support for CA Ideal is now possible using Ivory’s high performance access to CICS screen based applications.
CA Ideal and Web Services
In the above figure, CA Ideal panels are combined using the integrated screen wizard recorder and project builder to create SOAP based web services in a matter of minutes with no training and no coding. In addition, CA Ideal applications can call web services making Ivory Service Architect a complete web services solution.
